I supervised packing & was there to receive in Chicago at my daughter's apartment. Member Comments: Excellent. On 8/31, a small truck was loaded efficiently by two reps from the company. I believe it was "Eric" from the Fort Wayne office with the help of the truck driver who wrapped each piece and stowed it carefully in the truck. On 9/1, Josh & Roy delivered the furniture to my daughter's apartment in Chicago. They again showed up when they said they would and all was put in place without a scratch and with enthusiasm, I might add. I was totally pleased and would highly recommend Here To There Movers! Description of Work: Loaded truck from my house, drove to Schaumburg, IL (north of Chicago), and unloaded truck into a 2nd story apartment. Member Comments: Here to There Movers could not have done a better job. They greatly exceeded my expectations. They met with my parents at my house to pack up the truck, and my parents thought they worked quickly and did a great job. Moving into my 2nd story apartment was a bit more of a challenge; they had to bring a large piece of exercise equipment up the stairs and take parts of it off to place it exactly where I wanted it. Then they had to hoist my bed and couch up over my second story balcony. What I liked best about them is that they never said "this can't be done" or complained while hitting these challenges, where many other movers I've used have done that before and it's very frustrating. I tried to talk them into coming back up here next time I move because I'm sure I won't be able to find anyone better! They also showed up over an hour on the day to unload the truck and came in at $200 cheaper than other companies I had gotten estimates from. Great job!!!

Member Comments: I had a reservation with another moving company who called me the day before the move saying their main truck was not working and they couldn't keep their agreement. Joshua answered my call on a Saturday, drove to my place and gave me an estimate for a flat fee move to Ohio including packing whatever I hadn't finished the next day. He and three other movers arrived on time with a rented van and quickly loaded all the furniture and boxes. Everyone was polite and friendly. Joshua and one other mover helped unload in Columbus. So far I've found no damage to any furniture or boxes. They laid mats over hardwood floors and took other sensible precautions. The overall experience was great, especially for being at the last minute.

They got here at about 8:15, worked until about 3:30. They were very careful with the furniture, most things had to be padded. They were very courteous and very professional. They even helped move a chair into a room that we couldn't get ourselves. After they left we realized that we were missing a key to one of our cabinets, we figured we'd find it. The next day the foreman came back and gave us the key. They did an outstanding job.

Description of Work: My daughter and her husband were moving back to Indy. They had their cars packed and dragged a U-Haul behind their truck. Here to There brought a hand truck and helped unload the truck, u-haul and car into the house and then took the over flow to our storage unit near by. This took 2 hours. Member Comments: We had 2 men unloading. We had originally contracted for 4:00 but my daughter arrived early and HTT was able to arrive at 1:00. My daughter helped them separate what was to go into the house and what would go to storage. The men did a good job moving everything and nothing was damaged in the house or in what they had unpacked. The only bad thing my daughter had to say was that the men seemed to be in a rush.

The supervisor called the boss to let him know and said it would have to come out of their pocket. They sent out a floor specialist to look at it. He glued it down into place. Member Comments: I called for an appointment on a Wednesday, and they were able to schedule me for that weekend. The move was wonderful. I have never used movers before, and I was extremely apprehensive. I could not have asked for a better experience. The men arrived five minutes early, even for an 8am appointment on Sunday. Description of Work: Moved large furniture from one home to another in Fishers. Member Comments: We decided to use movers to move our large furniture (including two bedroom sets, two couches, treadmill, computer desk, bookcase, table, chairs, and one very large dresser) from one house to another in Fishers. We chose to use two movers and were expecting to pay around $350 for the move. They estimated it would take five hours. They were to arrive between noon and two but did not show up until 4:45. We called Joshua and he had the driver contact us. They offered to give us 10% off if we used the third man which would also speed up the process. We said okay. They packed everything in the truck and even took more items than we expected. They were very efficient and worked carefully for the most part. There were some pieces of furniture that scraped the wall as they were carried up the stairs but these were heavy pieces! Overall, I was pleased with the final outcome.

THEY ACTED UNPROFESSIONALLY. WHEN I CALLED AND ASKED THEM TO COME, I TOLD THEM THAT I NEEDED LOTS OF BUBBLE WRAP AND WARDROBE BOXES, AND THEY ARRIVED WITH NO BUBBLE WRAP AND NO HANGING BARS FOR THE WARDROBE BOXES. THE OWNER OF THE COMPANY GOT ANGRY WHEN I SAID I NEEDED THEM THAT DAY. HE TOLD ME HE DID NOT LIKE THE WAY I WAS TALKING TO HIM, AND I ENDED UP CANCELING THE JOB. I had 3 county lines to cross within a 20 minute drive and would have been charged at least 3 county line charges probably 4. Description of Work: This was a fairly complicated move. They picked up furniture and other items at three locations, and delivered items at two locations. The stops were in Lawrence, Indianapolis, Avon and Martinsville (spread over three Counties). There were a total of five stops. The 30 foot truck was full for part of the trip and two-thirds full the rest of the way. Member Comments: The three man crew did a very good job. They were right on time and worked hard. I thought the price was very reasonable, all things considered. They had the lowest hourly rate I could find ($65/hr. for two men and $85/ hr. for three men.) There was no surcharge for a Saturday and I liked the $30 per county charge rather than a milage charge. I strongly recommend them.
