We now charge a NON-refundable booking fee for all moves and box deliveries. There is no charge on appointments set for estimates. This fee will be charged to your credit card when booking your move. There are several reasons we have decided to add this small fee to our service. First, we are verifying the validity of the customers credit card. Second, we are off-setting the cost of providing 24/7 customer service. We are always here when you need us. Third, we have noticed a direct correlation between customers who have no valid credit card and customers who's checks are NSF.

We have not raised prices in almost two years. We are well below the average moving companies cost per hour. We also feel that this up front fee of only $6.00 is honest, unlike many other companies that hide fees on the back end after the job is done and you have no choice but to pay them.

Moving expenses are usually in the hundreds of dollars and checks are the easiest way to pay. We want to continue accepting checks, but need to provide ourselves with a small insurance policy in the form of this fee. In the last week of September we received $4700.00 in NFS checks. Please understand I debated long and hard about this fee, but feel it is nessasary. Clients with credit accounts will not be charged.

If you cannot provide a valid credit card and still want to get on the schedule; you will be required to pay cash for your move.
